Our Story
from our Michelin Star acclaimed Founder and Chef
I have been working in the Hospitality industry for over 25 years, expanding my skills in star Michelin restaurants in Europe, growing with experience and passion.
In 2011 I moved to London to become the Executive Head Chef of the Mayfair restaurant Sketch , I enjoyed 7 years there, growing the kitchen from 26 chefs to over 80, bringing the restaurant to a 3 Michelin Star level.
My passion for food was not only limited to managing a kitchen and being a creator, I was always interested in the industry as a whole, I kept a good relationship with my suppliers as well as my peers.
In 2019 I decided to focus solely on my passion and to start a business where I could provide a good honest service to customers, supplying ready meals, speciality seasonal produce not readily found in the supermarket or online. From this, idea Hosanna was born!
Myself and a small team of 3 brought fresh seasonal ready meals online which were made to order. We were successful, with the global pandemic closing restaurants this was our opportunity to show everyone that you didn’t need to know how to cook or even go to a restaurant to enjoy fresh expertly put together meals.
Restaurants began to open, as I kept in touch with the industry I could see that restaurants were struggling with staff, most couldn’t open to full capacity or had to have limited menus. This gave me an idea, I visited London restaurants offering production from our kitchen in West Acton, I would provide their mase en place and deliver them fresh for service.
Through word of mouth, I began to receive enquiries from more restaurants not only for production for events such as Royal Ascot and Wembley Football Stadium. Hosanna online was being surpassed by this huge demand, I decided to pause the ready meals and focus on producing for restaurants, hotels, events and restaurant consulting.
Hosanna grew in just 6 months from being a team of one chef (myself) in a rented kitchen space to being a team of 10 and growing in our own kitchen a year later we have signed a second kitchen to meet the demands of our ever-growing client base.
Today we are a London based independent hospitality service provider, specialising in restaurant productions, deli bars and bespoke catering events. Our ethos is still to provide great products, excellent service that facilitates budget and expectations of our customers. We are continually searching to provide only the best locally sourced quality ingredients to create unbeatable quality and value . With the care and over 25 years of food industry expertise, myself and our team have the confidence to offer a tailored food service that faces the demand of the current market.
